H.E. Muhammad Saleem, High Commissioner for Pakistan and Mr. Ladislaus Matindi, Managing Director/CEO of Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) held a meeting at the ATCL’s head office in Dar es Salaam today Mach 1st, 2021.
Mr. Matindi informed the High Commissioner about the ATCL’s evolving international commercial flight and cargo service.
He added that the ATCL was planning to expand its fleet and routes in order to remain a major competitor in the air transport market of the region.
Thanking Mr. Matindi, H.E. Mr. Saleem informed about the longstanding history of Pakistan-Tanzania cooperation in the civil aviation sector including Pakistan International Airline’s direct commercial flights to Dar es Salaam during the 1980s.
Both sides agreed on exploring new avenues of cooperation in the commercial aviation sector between Pakistan and Tanzania for mutual benefit.
He added that the ATCL was planning to expand its fleet and routes in order to remain a major competitor in the air transport market of the region.
