In Riyadh, the prayer was held at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in the presence of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Riyadh region.
Regional governors and senior officials attended the prayers in all other parts of the Kingdom.
In their sermons, the preachers urged Muslims to repent their sins and pary to Allah Almighty for forgiveness. They advised the people to increase doing good and charitable deeds while supplicating for rain-fall. (SPA)
