THE Ministry of Health and Wellness informs members of the public that according to the National Vaccine Deployment Plan, the COVID-19 vaccination will transit to Phase four which covers those aged between 12 to 17.
Furthermore, approval to implement the booster dosing plan has been endorsed by Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BOMRA).
Preparations are ongoing with stakeholders to ensure an effective vaccination roll out. Details of the Phase four transition and booster dosing schedule will be provided in due course.
The public is therefore requested to be prepared for the developments.
All eligible Batswana and residents of this country of 18 years and above who are not yet vaccinated, are encouraged to visit their nearest vaccination site for vaccination.
The public is also requested to adhere to COVID-19 protocols to prevent the spread of the disease.
