  1. There is no update on the website. Nobody interested to pay depositors. Intl depositors has no access to funds since July of 2014. Is 9 years enough to pay depositors? There will be massive litigation and arbitration to pay damages to depositors.

  2. The website for the DIB is not functioning, the Portal is a hilarious attempt to put some official cover on the whole afront of closing the FBME bank. Granted, there were some bad apples in that basket, but by and large 95% of the account holders were legitimate and law-abiding. However, the DIB appears to be utterly unwilling to solve the issue rapidly or alternatively they have failed to appoint people that have any capabilities in sorting the mess the US authorities have gotten the FBME, and by extension the Tanzanian Government [through the DIB] into.
