MANGALURU-A girl student from Kumta in India, who arrived in the city for processing study visa went missing on Friday September 16 morning. However, quick action by the city police traced her to Bengaluru City in the evening.
Vasundara Raviraja Nayak (20), a resident of Kumta Hebail is the girl who went missing.
Vasundara had arrived in the city in order to take student visa with her parents. They were residing at a lodge in K S Rao road of the city.
On Friday morning the trio went to have breakfast. Vasundara said that she is going to the lodge after the breakfast. However, when parents came to the lodge at 9.45 am, Vasundara was missing and her mobile phone was also switched off.
A missing case was filed at Bunder police station by the parents. Police swiftly got into action and traced her mobile to Bengaluru and located her at 5.30 pm.
According to the statement given by Vasundara she went to Bengaluru to meet her grandmother as she is leaving to Germany for higher studies. The police said that more inquiry will be done once Vasundara is brought to Mangaluru.(Daijiworld)
