THE novel corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) presents an important and urgent threat to global health and its effect is expected to get even worse in the middle- and low-income countries where the health system is weak and fragile.
Timely access to accurate information and public awareness on prevention methods is one of the feasible interventions in these countries.Identifying level of public awareness on disease prevention is important to mitigate the pandemic.
Recently, program of Chinmaya Foundation in Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendujhar and Kendrapara District of Odisha State for Covid-19, reached 131st Weekly for Awareness, Kit and Relief Distribution.
The international peoples enhancement organization for peace and harmony "CHINMAYA FOUNDATION " providing food, clothing and awareness to the unconscious people, street children, beggars, orphans, madmen etc, who have not been able to straighten their waist due to the epidemic corona with a nonstop and continues process from 22nd March 2020 to till now.
Today, for 917th days. The foundations 131th weekly continuous process of corona awareness with distribution of masks, soap, sanitizer, ORS, hand gloves, dettol, phenyl etc is going on food, clothes, ration materials, financial assistance etc. have been provided to the needy.
In this context, the directions of founding Chairperson Mr.Chinmaya Dash, the foundation has organized its 131th weekly program from day number 910 to 917 in various places of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendujhar & Kendrapara district.
Program Coordinator Master Mihir Kumar, Sreekshetra Sahoo, Volunteers of the foundation Sushree Sagarika Parida, Pujarani Behuria, Barsarani Majhi, Dipti ranjan Pradhan, Satyajit Barik, Biswajit Mallik, Durga Prasad Raut, Rocky Das, Nilima Jena, Rashmita Jena, Rakesh Jena, Sagar Mallik are aware & distribute the Covid Kit & Relief items to the people's.
The founder Chairperson of the foundation Mr. Chinmaya Dash expressed his opinion that this program will continue until the epidemic corona is destroyed from all over the world.
