THE President of United Republic of Tanzania, Dr.Samia Suluhu Hassan has revoked the appointment of Sumbawanga District Commissioner, Jane Nyamsenda.
Consequently, Mr Sixtus Mapunda has been appointed to fill Ms Nyamsenda’s void, a State House statement issued today March 9th, 2023 by Director of Presidential Communications, Zuhura Yunus.

“The United Republican of Tanzania President Honourable Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Mr Sixtus Mapunda as the Sumbawanga District Commissioner.Mr Mapunda replacing Ms Jane Nyamsenda whose appointment has been revoked,”statement says.According to Director of Presidential Communications, Zuhura Yunus, Mapunda’s appointment starts with immediate effect.
