INTERNATIONAL co-operations encompasses all professional activities aimed at supporting people in need and promoting economic,social and cultural development around the globe.

International co-operation covers the fields of humanitarian aid, development co operation and peace promotion.

Culture and identity can also shape power dynamics in international relations with dominant cultures and identities creating imbalances of power and privilege.

The importance of culture and identity in international relations is multifaceted ,shaping interactions, priorities and power dynamics between nations

One of the most significant nudge factors in international cultural policies, has been the heightened increase in local, national, and global awareness about national heritage resources, both tangible and intangible.

Now this awareness has been facilitated by the World Heritage Convention, which is administered by the UNESCO, the World Heritage convention is very closely associated with the World Heritage List, and the World Heritage convention deals with both Tangible Cultural Heritage, as well as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

So, the 1972 World Heritage convention, it was signed in 1972 and hence that prefix night in 1972. The links the concepts of nature conservation, and the preservation of cultural properties.

The convention recognizes the way in which people interact with nature. And the fundamental need to preserve the balance between nature and culture.

The idea of combining conservation of cultural sites with those of nature arose from a White House Conference in Washington DC in 1965, which called for a World Heritage Trust that would stimulate international cooperation to protect the world's superb Natural and Scenic areas and Historic sites.

For the present, as well as the future of the entire world citizenry. Now this is a very - very ambitious and a very beautiful goal to achieve.

By signing the convention that is a World Heritage Convention, each country pledged to conserve, not just the World Heritage Sites situated on its territories, but also to protect its national heritage.

The parties to the convention are encouraged to integrate the protection of cultural and natural heritage into regional planning programs set up staffing and services at their sites, undertake scientific and technical conservation research and adopt measures, which gave heritage or gives heritage, a firmer place in the day-to-day life of the community consult.

The United Nations Educational,scientific and cultural organisations(UNESCO) designates World Heritage Sites of outstanding universal value to cultural or natural heritage which have been nominated by countries which are signatories to the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, established in 1972.

Cultural heritage consists of monuments (such as architectural works, monumental sculptures, or inscriptions), groups of buildings, and sites (including archaeological sites).

Natural features (consisting of physical and biological formations), geological and physiographical formations (including habitats of threatened species of animals and plants), and natural sites which are important from the point of view of science, conservation or natural beauty, are defined as natural heritage.

India accepted the convention on 14 November 1977, making its sites eligible for inclusion on the listAs of 2023, there are 42 World Heritage Sites located in India.

Out of these, 34 are cultural, 7 are natural, and one, the Khangchendzonga National Park, is of mixed type. India has the sixth largest number of sites in the world.

The first sites to be listed were the Ajanta Caves, Ellora Caves, Agra Fort, and Taj Mahal, all of which were inscribed in the 1983 session of the World Heritage Committee.

The most recent site listed was At different times, two sites were listed as endangered: the Manas Wildlife Sanctuary was listed between 1992 and 2011 due to poaching and activities of the Bodo militias,and the monuments at Hampi were listed between 1999 and 2006 due to risks from increased traffic and new constructions in surroundings.

One site is transnational, The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier is shared with six other countries. In addition, India has 50 sites on its tentative list

Now it may be concluded that India is one of the most religiously and ethnically diverse nation in the world with some of most deeply religious societies and cultures, Religion plays a central and definitive role in the life of many of its people. Although India is a secular Hindu majority country, it has large muslim population`
