Foreign Service Officers urged to be passionate on defending national interests

DODOMA-A four-day training program for Foreign Service Officers on Diplomatic Communication began October 8, 2024 at St. Gaspar Hotel in Dodoma.
Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, the training aims to equip 38 Foreign Service Officers with essential skills and knowledge in diplomatic matters.

The main focus of the training is to emphasize the importance of defending national interests while serving in the Ministry and at embassies.

The training is being conducted by a team of retired ambassadors, including Ambassador Bertha Semu Somi, Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Omar Maundi, Ambassador Begum Karim Taji, Ambassador Peter Alain Kalaghe, Ambassador Tuvako Nathaniel Manongi, and Ambassador Mohamed Haji Hamza.
