𝐉UBA (𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒)-President Salva Kiir Mayardit met with a visiting delegation from the United Arab Emirates [UAE] led by the State Minister for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan to discuss avenues to foster investment in agriculture and infrastructure in the country as well as to enhance the long-standing cooperation between the two nations.

President Kiir underscored the critical role of foreign investment in consolidating sustainable development and economic advancement.

The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chol Mawut Ajongo, says the president has instructed relevant ministries to carry out the necessary technical preparations for the effective and timely implementation of the proposed initiatives as scheduled.

Minister Mawut also affirmed that both parties are dedicated to creating a framework that encourages investment, efficiency, and sustainable practices in the targeted sectors.
