JUBA-President Salva Kiir Mayardit has urged political leaders from the Upper Nile State to entrench peace and unity at all times by shunning leaders whose main agenda is preaching divisive politics and hatred.
This comes as the president held discussions with King Kwongo Dak Padiet of Chollo Kingdom to address the situation in the Upper Nile Region.
During their meeting, King Dak highlighted the vital role of peace and unity as fundamental for the region's quest for robust development.
The Minister of Presidential Affairs Chol Mawut Ajongo says the President was constructive, with the King, reiterating his commitment to restoring lasting peace throughout the country.
Both the President and the Chollo King reiterated their commitment to working together to foster dialogue and cooperation among all political leaders, emphasizing that the well-being of the community must come before personal or political interests.
