TOKYO-H.E. Ambassador Baraka Luvanda recently conducted an online debriefing session for a delegation of Japanese companies preparing for a four-day mission to Tanzania on January 12-15, 2025.
Ambassador Luvanda outlined Tanzania's preparations for the visit and what the delegation might expect while in the country.
He stressed the important reasons for Japanese companies to consider and choose Tanzania as a top and prime destination for their business and partnership.
Ambassador Luvanda underlined Tanzania's strategic advantages, such as its abundant natural resources, increasing market, and friendly business climate.
He also informed the group about the Government's commitment to making business processes easier and establishing a friendly environment for foreign investors.
The delegation is made up of roughly 60 members from diverse Japanese companies, aiming to establish meaningful collaborations with their Tanzanian counterparts.
This mission is part of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) project, seeking to improve economic ties between Japanese public and private sectors and their African counterparts.
Ambassador Luvanda encouraged the delegation to pursue a variety of opportunities in agriculture, infrastructure, energy, mining and technology.
He expressed confidence that the mission would pave the way for beneficial relationships that would benefit both countries while also contributing to Tanzania's long-term development.
