JUBA-President Salva Kiir Mayardit has received security briefings from three State Governors on critical issues in their respective states. They outlined some of the efforts being made in improving security and development in the country.
Central Equatoria Governor Augustino Jadalla Wani informed the President of the current security situation in the state, including, investigations regarding last year's incident on security in Wonduruba Administrative Payam, movement of cattle to Central Equatoria.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Upper Nile James Odhok Oyay briefed the President on the security situation in Nasir County, assuring him that the general security situation in the State remains calm.
For his part, the Governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal Simon Uber Ajongo briefed the President on the security situation in his state.
He said he briefed the President on a number of development projects currently being undertaken by the state government to boost the region’s infrastructural development and economy.
The briefings from the Governors underscored the determination of the government to handle security issues and ensure development in all parts of the country.
