Egypt’s Minister for Foreign Affairs arrives in Tanzania for a working visit

DAR-The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Hon. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, has arrived in Tanzania for a working visit.
Upon his arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, Hon. Dr. Abdelatty was warmly received by the Deputy Ministers for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Cosato Chumi, who was accompanied by the Tanzanian Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Maj. Gen. Richard Makanzo, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E. Sherif Ismail.

During the visit, Hon. Dr. Abdelatty alongside his Tanzanian counterpart, Hon. Amb. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo are scheduled to officiate the Tanzania-Egypt Business and Investment Forum in Dar es Salaam.

Later, the two ministers will jointly address the press to highlight key outcomes of their bilateral talks.

Dr. Abdelatty will also meet the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Hon. Dr. Doto Biteko and visit the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant in Rufiji, Pwani Region.
